Sounds good Doug. I won't be meeting everyone at Timmy's ... it's alot closer for me to go from my place directly to the power line.
See you there! |

By all means! Timmys is just the meeting point for us donut-loving townies.
We'll be easy to find on Songis Road...just look for the dozen guys dressed like Power Rangers LOL |

Folks, for the GPS or Google Earth/Google Maps-enabled, here's the important stuff
Starting point (North Bay Tim Hortons) N46 19.442 W79 25.697
Trailhead N 46°21'21.19 W79° 6'50.42
It's about 1/2 an hour away from the Tim Horton's. |

BS Riders- only 13 days before the first ride of the season. Get those bikes started and prep to go. It won't be long. It almost feels like Xmas.

It feels like going without loving for 4 months, except one cannot take matters into ones own hands
New sprocket and chain are on the way, 14/52 combo. Should be the perfect woods ratio.
Shes 90% back together just need to carry her outside , finish putting her back together and see if she works. _________________ When In Doubt Whip It Out |

Sound like your KTM project is near completion. I hope it starts.
Cross my fingers and hope weather improves for the long weekend. I plan to change fork oil on my bike this weekend. Other than a few minor items I am all set to go. |

It should. I have seen spark in the dark.
Fork oil is changed
Brake Fluid is fresh
Tranny fluid is fresh
everything that can be cleaned and regreased has been
Powervalve has been cleaned and new viton rings installed
I have two concerns,
1) I relocated the CDI box to the rear of the airbox. This involved cutting the wiring harness. Every wire was checked for continuity and all was good so it should not be a problem
2) I modified the card somewhat as the float would hang up sometimes and it would piss out the gas. Some carefull sanding seems to have cured it but those darn gremlins may linger.
Anyways she is going to the shed this weekend where I can at least hear her wake up from her nap. riiinnnnng dinng ding ding.
Make that three concerns. I am off to Toronto for three weeks , to upgrade a T1 network so time has been crunched. If everything goes well than sweet if not I would only have the sat before the first ride to get it right.

A checked the Star Chart and it appears you may be in luck. It looks like all the stars are aligned the Saturday before our first ride. Trust me.... |

| Only 7 days left until first ride. Weather is not looking good after this past weekend . Hopefully things will improve as the week goes on. Otherwise we may have to delay ride by a week. Will see....... |

Sorry to dissapoint...
I'm getting reports that there's a fair amount of ice still in the bush and the weather is going to be -5 the night before with a high of 1 on Sunday with heavy rains/snow predicted.
We'll do the same ride the following Sunday.... |
