Hope the weather changes for next week.Went riding today on the pipe line North HWY.and there is still snow on the main pipe line road.
And there is a lot more snow in Redbridge area.
But it was still great to get out riding with the boys.

Yeah, strange weather today...not as bad as what was forecaset earlier in the week.

Things are looking up for next weekend...high of 14 forecast.
I just hope I can get my engine back together, otherwise I'll be cheerleading from my mini-van LOL

A few things folks, since this is our first club ride!

1) If you haven't already done so...please fill out and bring your completed membership form, along with a cheque made out to 'Blue Sky Riders'
($40 individual, $50 family)
Form is available here http://www.mediafire.com/?2nmdio3oaa4

2) Be sure to check to see if your plate, bike registration & insurance is in order. Make sure that you bring both (we won't check, but who knows, there may be some of Mattawa's finest OPP officers out to greet us on the trails)

3) Bring your own lunch, water, gas, tool bag etc. If you're blue-plated and are riding out to the trail, then it might be a good idea to hook up with others at the Tim Hortons before we leave, so we can get your stuff into a vehicle for you.

4) I'm thinking that most of us will be @ 2-3 hours on the trails.
Once we get on the trail, if you decide to take off before everyone else does, make sure you let the ride leader or ride sweeper know (we'll let you know who these people will be at the trailhead), otherwise I have a 3-legged hound dog named Suzy that will hunt you down. You don't want to get Suzy mad.

5) Dress appropriately i.e. warmly & safely. It should be a beautiful day, but there are still reports of snow in the shady areas and this time of year, expect to get wet and muddy

6) Sign in on this thread if you're planning on being there Sunday!

I'll go first!

I'll be there! My KLR is still being fixed, but hopefully I'll be there on an Orange bike if all goes well, thanks to the kindness of a fellow club member.

Buffer, I'll bring the Chrome Chest Protector for you...
