I'm looking for a place to live in north bay starting in July. I'm attending CTS for Paramedic, a 12 month program. I have no pets, don't smoke, can't cook and attend school evenings 5-10. If anyone knows of a place or a person that has a place I would be greatful!

We just has a Canadore College student as a boarder from August through the beginning of March.

That was the first time we've done that, and the last, according to my wife.
I've got nothing against students (hey I was once one myself), it just didn't work out, especially for my wife...she was on pins and needles the whole time.

I can ask around a bit. Actually our former boarder probably knows some Canadore students that might be able to sublet to you over the summer to at least get you in place for a few months. They usually have to sign 12 month leases even if they go home for the summer, so will often sublet for cheap from May to late August.

One of my neighbors rents an attic room to students each year, but he usually only takes Education students (i.e. older grad students), you would have to cook for yourself and you would have to be OK with living in an 'alternative lifestyle' home.

Say the word and I'll ask the two individuals above.
