Hey Guys
My 03 YZ250 is in a billion pieces in my basement, Doing routine maintenance, rebuilding and lubing everything.
Im going to pimp out my bike this year.
New Maxxis tires, Pro Circuit Platinum Pipe and Can, Excel Rims,
Gforce reeds, New Plastic, New Graphics, Renthal R3 chain.
Renthal Sprockets, Carbon Fiber pipe guard, Carbon Fiber skid plate, and i plan on buying all new state of the art riding equipment.
So thats a heavy bill, Do you know of a shop that can cut me a sweet deal? Paying retail sucks, Ebay is good but border fees are expensive. Royal distributing is over priced.
Let me know
Thanks

I used ride gear in california last year. It was pretty cheap even paying the exchange and shipping.
I'm not sure how prices and the exchange rate are affecting the bottom line this year, but overall I found them to be cheaper than royal on most things I wanted and by bundling the shipping it was much cheaper. Boots were not any cheaper so I bought the boots at royal in sudbury. (300 bucks) They would have cost 300 with exchange and shipping so I went to sudbury.
I have also been to royal in barrie and because they carry so much stock, they have pretty good prices on gear. I don't buy parts there so I cannot comment on that.
I buy my parts at Sampson in bonfield. Good prices, willing to negotiate and turnaround times far sooner than ordered stuff from ride gear or royal.
I do not however buy anything from North Bay cycle anymore. I bought 2 bikes there but I am not big on the mechanic (Brian), so I will not give them any more of my business for bikes, parts or gear. I bought my 600 F4I at quinlans in huntsville. The 230 F four stroke dirt bike i bought from north bay cycle was used in a school or something. When I got it home and really had a close look I found that it was used. The tire was cut, the clutch was worn from unskilled riders feathering it in the school all day. I took it back but got nothing other than a seal replaced because it was leaking oil. The RM 250 I bought there has never run properly and I ended up doing the carb rejet myself. If it continues i will rebuild the engine with new seals myself or take it to sampsons in bonny. |
